religious holiday displays here on the courthouse lawn. it is a long-running leesburg tradition. a commission denied a request to put up a christmas tree on courthouse grounds. the board ended up overturning that ban, allowing for the displaced and set up to 10 groups can put this place up on a first-come first-served basis to make sure things don't get out of hand. we heard from about 50 people who were upset, some saying they want to have these religious displays. others say this is an issue of church and state. the town council supports the display. county leaders will decide what goes on county-run properties. we'll hear from them again at
